Great reflection! Yes! The tool, though only a tool and not a replacement for hard thinking, is like a frame that allows you to express the unstructured mess of thoughts into some defined structured.
Wow! A reply from David Allen himself – this is already a great day :) By the way, regarding the workspace topic, if there’s ever a chance to record an updated version of the "Call Daniel Br" video (recorded six years ago with a somewhat blurry image ), I’d love to see what’s changed. Wishing you all the best.

Hi David,
I'm not familiar with this medium.
It's my first time on this substack thing.
There is a book awaiting to be written at the crossroads of media awareness (emanating from McLuhan) and the many powerful side effects of GTD.
At least I'm guessing of course.
I'm glad I stumbled upon this substack of yours.
Regards
Henri
... that's why we feel so busy and overwhelmed! 😂
Only if you don't limit and monitor your channels....
...also choosing to keep the slate blank might make a difference ;) Neat workspace!
Indeed. That's why a neat and well organized work space is a medium for much smarter thinking and work.
